Students will study soil biogeochemical and hydrologic processes in depth. Their understanding and skills will be useful in addressing many societal challenges, including climate and land use change, environmental protection, ecosystem services, food security, and energy production in a range of employment settings. In addition this concentration prepares students for advanced study in related areas.
