The concept of “One Earth – One Health – One Future” represents an integrated and interdisciplinary framework that recognizes the inseparable relationship between environmental integrity, animal health, and human well-being. It emphasizes that global health security and sustainable development cannot be achieved through isolated sectoral approaches but require collaborative actions across ecological, medical, agricultural, and social systems. The increasing frequency of emerging infectious diseases, biodiversity loss, climate change, environmental pollution, and antimicrobial resistance underscores the necessity of adopting a holistic One Health approach. This paradigm advocates for sustainable resource management, ecosystem conservation, responsible agricultural practices, and evidence-based public health interventions to ensure resilience against present and future global challenges. By promoting transdisciplinary research, policy integration, and international cooperation, the One Health framework contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and securing a healthier, more equitable, and sustainable future for all life on Earth.
